Support Bower Hill

Bower Hill Volunteer
Fire Department exists to serve the residents and businesses of Scott
Township. In turn, we need the support of these residents and
businesses to fulfill our mission. We have two major annual fund
raising events. The fund
drive, which includes a Scott Township EMS
ambulance subscription, begins each November. The annual Fish Fry is
held on Good Friday. We also hold a raffle at the Fire Prevention Week
open house in October, and stage several other special events
throughout the year in our hall. We also accept donations apart
from the regular fund drive.
Bower Hill
Volunteer Fire
Department does not
solicit contributions by telephone, nor is it affiliated with any
group or agency that does. Any donation to any organization who
solicits donations for firefighters by telephone does not benefit Bower Hill
VFD in any way.
Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department does not receive any money
from the so-called EMS (Emergency and Municipal Services) Tax. In Scott
Township, that money is used only for road repairs. IT DOES NOT BENEFIT
EMERGENCY SERVICES AT ALL.
